Largely voluntary organisation (one part time administrator) posts parcels of books to communities in developing countries. They sent about 28 thousand books in 1,111 parcels to 37 countries in 1996. Fairly even spread to Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe.

Stands for Community Health, Education and Reconstruction Training'. Amongst other development projects (all based in South Africa) they are currently running a project called "A Book and 10 Pence for the children of South Africa" which is supported by Unison. The idea is to collect large quantities of second hand books from all over the UK and send them by container to schools and public libraries throughout South Africa.

Ecumenical organisation that supports local publishing projects throughout the developing world. They help fund distribution, and training as well as providing equipment to Christian publishers. They provide book grants to theological institutions and theology students. Also collect and distribute key theology texts that are donated in the UK to institutions in need - a catalogue is produced twice a year and the books are allocated on a first come first served basis'.
