Need for Education Aid
Lack of education is the root of several problems in many developing
countries. While the developed world has entered the 21st century, many third world
nations have yet to enter the 20th century. For instance they cannot even
meet the minimum needs of water and electricity for homes and factories. Their
educational institutions lack in essential learning material and equipment due
to rampant poverty and neglect.
In a country where a large majority
of people are illiterate, given the chance even democracy is useless. Because,
by definition of democracy a government of the illiterate people will only be by
the illiterate people.
