Guidelines for Book Donations Education Aid needs books, journals, CDs and educational video films for developing countries. Our donors include libraries, publishers, booksellers, schools, universities, professional bodies, industry and individuals. Overstock, damaged, older editions and review copies are taken. For all our donors the following guidelines are provided. |
Books are needed for all age group schools, undergraduate and graduate studies on
various subjects. Textbooks, general interest subjects and fiction are needed. |
Books should not be older than 10 years. Exceptions in specific cases, please check

Journals may be older than 10 years, if bound or complete runs. If possible, send
a list giving title and year. |
Books should not be torn, with students' markings or with pages missing. |
Newspapers, old directories, pamphlets, reports, sexual material and attic clearance
is not required. |
All material should be FIRMLY packed in cardboard boxes and sealed with tape. Mark
each box as ' Education Aid '. Avoid using too large boxes so that they do not become too heavy to handle. Photo
copy paper boxes A4/A3 size or similar may be used. |
We will also appreciate if you can kindly help with the delivery of material, if
possible. We are a small charity with limited resources. If you can deliver, please
make prior arrangements by calling us. Do not send heavy parcels to our P.O.
Box address. Deliveries can be sent by prior arrangement to the warehouse. |
